How to make
Wash the chicken legs and put them in an oven dish with a nonstick coating. Sprinkle them with salt and black pepper and rub them thoroughly with a bit of the other spices so they absorb the flavors. Chop the butter and spread it out all over.
Wrap the dish in aluminum foil and put it in a preheated 390°F (200 °C) oven for about 50 min.
Make the marinade by mixing the honey, paprika and soy sauce in a bowl. Grate the ginger into it and add the mix of spices and nutmeg. Mix everything together.
Remove the foil from the dish. Use a cooking brush to smear the chicken legs with the prepared marinade. Put the oven dish back in the oven for about 20 min.
Be sure to generously baste the chicken legs again with the marinade from the oven dish at the halfway mark of the final baking phase.
Serve thus prepared chicken with green salad or fried rice .
