Mix all of the ingredients for the base, stir well and distribute the resulting mixture along the bottom of a cake form with removable sides.
Soak the gelatin in the water, for it to swell, then heat it up until it dissolves but without boiling it.
Beat the cream. Melt the chocolate and butter for the parfait in a water bath. Add the cooled gelatin and chocolate gradually to the cream and stir carefully.
Pour this chocolate parfait onto the base and put the cake form in the fridge for several hours.
