"For expert chefs and aficionados - a Double Layered Orange Japanese Dessert."

Ingredients

  • orange juice - 2 cups (500 ml), 100%
  • confectionery cream - 4/5 cup (200 ml)
  • sugar - 1/5 cup (60 g)
  • milk - 4/5 cup (200 ml)
  • eggs - 1
  • gelatin - 1 1/3 tbsp (20 g)
measures

How to make

Mix the milk with the egg. Put the orange juice, cream and sugar in a pot.

Stir them on low heat (just enough to heat them, not boil) until everything becomes homogenized.

Add the milk with the egg and stir once again. Then turn off the stove and add the gelatin. Stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved. Let it cool.

Once it cools a bit, pour it into glasses/bowls/cups and put them in the fridge to harden.

The 2 layers separate when they're put into cups and left to cool.

Note: The 2 layers need to be eaten together. The white part on its own isn't delicious.
