"When you`re really hungry all you need is a double cheeseburger and nothing else."

Ingredients

  • beef - 28 oz (800 g)
  • buns - 3, for hamburgers
  • spices - salt, black pepper, etc.
  • ketchup
  • mustard
  • onions - 1 small head
  • tomatoes - 1
  • lettuce - a few leaves
  • gouda - 6 slices or other cheese

How to make

Grind the beef and season it with spices to taste. Leave it in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours, covered with foil. Shape the dough into 6 flat patties and broil them on a greased pan.

After flipping them over and when they are almost done, put a piece of gouda on each burger. Turn the heat off. Halve the buns, put some lettuce leaves in them, top with 2 patties with gouda, onion rings on top, a little ketchup, mustard and tomato and press down with the top bun.

Serve the double cheeseburgers with some more mustard and ketchup immediately. If desired, add mayonnaise.
