"A very tasty, very easy-to-make, very refined and very beloved tart."

Ingredients

  • pumpkins - 2 lb (1 kg)
  • sugar - 1 cup
  • walnuts - 1 cup ground
  • breadcrumbs - 2 tablespoons
  • milk - 1 cup
  • butter - 2 tablespoons
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • eggs - 2
  • powdered sugar - 2 - 3 tablespoons

How to make

Wash the pumpkin, cut it finely and saute until soft with the butter and milk. Then mash it into a smooth puree.

Mix the pumpkin puree with the previously beaten yolks with 2/3 of the sugar, ground walnuts, breadcrumbs and cinnamon. Finally, add the beaten to snow egg whites to the remaining sugar.

Pour the mixture into a buttered baking dish and bake in a moderate oven until ready. Serve the tart with powdered sugar and serve.
