How to make
Clean the bell peppers from their stems and seeds, wash and slice them. Sprinkle with 1 cup (250 g) of salt and 2 cups (500 g) of sugar. Leave to sit in a cool area for 8 hours.
Then pour the juice, released from the bell peppers, into a pot. Mix with 1 bottle of vinegar, 1/2 bottle of oil, black pepper and a few bay leaves.
Put the marinade to boil and while still hot, pour it on the bell peppers. Leave it to stand overnight. The next day, fill jars with them (you can add a little more water to the marinade).
Close the filled with bell peppers and marinade jars and sterilize for a few minutes to seal the caps tightly (10-15 minutes).
