How to make
Clean and wash the pork cheeks, dry them. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pot. Add the chopped onion and garlic, to saute. Once they turn transparent, take them out of the pot and set them aside.
Pour the flour in a suitable container and roll the pork cheeks in it. Braise them lightly in the oil and remove from the heat. Take out the remainder of the flour from the pot and put back the garlic, onion, cheeks and chopped vegetables.
Pour in the chicken broth and tomato paste. Season with the spices. Leave the dish to simmer on low heat for about 2 hours but don't forget to stir it from time to time. If the dish seems too thick, you can dilute it with a little water.
