Ingredients

  • eggs - 6
  • sugar - 2/5 cup (100 g)
  • semolina - 1/3 cup (80 g)
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • flour - 1/3 cup (80 g)
  • milk - 2 cups (500 ml)
  • brown sugar - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 g)
  • vanilla - 1

How to make

Mix the semolina with the flour and baking powder. Beat the egg whites to snow. Beat the egg yolks with the sugar and mix them carefully with the whites.

Add the mixture with the flour and stir everything. Pour it out into a tray covered with baking paper. Bake 25 min. at 360°F (180 °C).

Take it out of the oven and leave it to cool. Heat the milk, without boiling it, add the brown sugar and vanilla and stir until the sugar dissolves.

Pour the milk over the cake and let it cool completely.
