How to make
Beat the eggs with the sugar, until it has melted. Then add the oil, milk and flour mixed with baking powder.
Pour the mixture into a square baking pan lined with baking paper.
Arrange the pitted morello cherries on top (a little trick to prevent the morello cherries from falling all the way to the bottom is to sprinkle the surface of the cake with flour before arranging them on top).
Bake the morello cherry cake in a preheated oven at 390°F (200°C) for about 25-30 minutes.
The cooled Serbian Morello Cherry Cake is cut into cubes and sprinkled with powdered sugar.
