How to make
Mix all of the ingredients, excluding the baking soda and butter, to homogeneity.
The resulting mixture will be thicker than your regular pancake mix but this will allow the pancakes to turn out fluffy and porous.
Leave the mixture to rise and bubble. Then mix carefully with the baking soda.
Fry the pancakes in a pan on both sides subsequently. Smear each ready pancake with butter.
Serve the pancakes with a jam or marmalade of your choice or with feta cheese and cheese.
