How to make

The water for the brine is boiled and all the products - salt, sugar and spices - are added to it - except for the fish and onions.

The previously cleaned fish is cut into slices and arranged in a jar along with the chopped onions.

The mackerel is poured with the already cooled brine and two tablespoons of oil are also poured into the jar.

The jar is left in a cold place and after three days the pickled fish is ready for consumption.

Store the pickled mackerel in brine in the refrigerator.
