How to make

In a deep bowl, mix the eggs, sugar, honey and oil. Beat with a mixer until smooth.

Add the sifted flour, baking soda, cocoa, cinnamon, ginger and cloves.

Knead a not very hard dough, shape it into a ball and leave it in the refrigerator for half an hour.

Then roll it out on a floured surface. You can cut out various cookie shapes with cookie cutters or circles with a cup.

The honey cookies are arranged on a tray covered with baking paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 360°F (180°C) for about 10 minutes or until their edges start to acquire a pleasant color.

You can stick the honey cookies with homemade marmalade or decorate with chocolate or enjoy them as they are.

The Long-Lasting Christmas Honey Cookies can be stored for a longer time in a jar in a dry place.
