How to make
The flowers should be well-bloomed, but not yet fully bloomed. It is important to make the rose jam as soon as possible after picking the roses.
Rinse and dry the rose petals. Pour the sugar into a pot, cover with water, add half a teaspoon of citric acid and boil for about 20 minutes.
Place the petals in a bowl, sprinkle the remaining citric acid on the rose petals and “pound” them with a wooden spoon or spatula.
Pour them into the syrup and mix. Boil over low heat for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally to mix well and prevent from sticking to the bottom of the pot.
Add the drops of rose oil and the juice of one lemon. Boil for another 1-2 minutes.
Pour the finished jam into pre-washed and dried jars, tighten the lids and turn the jars upside down until the jars of easy rose jam cool down.
