Ingredients

  • eggs - 3
  • sugar - 1 and 1/2 cups
  • butter - 4.4 oz (125 g)
  • fresh milk - 1 and 1/2 cups
  • cocoa - 2 tbsp.
  • vanilla - 1 tsp.
  • flour - 2 cups
  • baking powder - 1 tsp.

How to make

Eggs are beaten with sugar until white. Melted butter, fresh milk, cocoa and vanilla are added to them. Everything is mixed until smooth.

Set aside one cup of the mixture for filling.

The flour is sifted and together with the baking powder is added in portions to the cake batter.

Mix with a spatula until the flour is completely absorbed. The resulting dough is transferred to an oiled and floured cake tin.

The cake is baked in an oven at 360°F (180°C) for about 30 minutes. When it's ready, take it out, cut it into squares and, while it's still hot, fill it with the previously reserved cup of cocoa mixture.

The moist cake is left until well soaked, after which it is ready to serve.
