How to make

Boil the calamari in salted water. The first option is to boil the calamari in boiling water for 3-4 minutes, no more, otherwise they will become hard.

There is another option that I chose this time: I put the tubes in boiling water one by one, wait 1 minute and take them out. Boil in a few steps. You don't have to throw everything in the pot at once.

Cool the calamari. The onion is cut into thin semicircles. Grate the carrots. You can use special grater for Korean carrots.

Pour the vegetables with boiling water, close the bowl with a lid and leave it for 15 minutes.

Cut the calamari into strips.

Add soy sauce, vinegar, sugar and a pinch of salt to the seafood. Stir.

Strain the onion and carrots from the excess water and add them to the calamari.

Add garlic, which has been pressed and add spices. It is advisable to use a mixture of Korean spices for cooking.

Stir the carrot salad.

Pour the salad with boiling vegetable oil and mix well. Cover the carrot, onion and calamari salad and refrigerate it for a few hours or overnight. The longer the salad is left, the more delicious it becomes. Add fresh parsley or coriander before serving.
