How to make
Thyme tea is made from 2 teaspoons of the dried herb boiled in a teacup of water.
The mixture should be left for 10 minutes and then the liquid should be strained. For cough relief 3-4 cups of thyme tea a day are recommended.

A cup of thyme tea contains: calcium, chromium, iron, magnesium, manganese, potassium and selenium, flavonoids, vitamins B-complex, C, D, A, phosphorus, tannins and carotene, strong antioxidant compounds.
Thyme lowers blood pressure and is recommended for people suffering from insomnia.
Not recommended during pregnancy and for nursing mothers!
