How to make
If you're wondering what to spice up your summer with, here's an interesting fresh drink suggestion that's also very healthy. Its preparation is easy and is done in the following way:
The chia seeds are soaked for 20 minutes in a teacup of water.
The cucumber is peeled and placed in a blender or food processor with a fine grinding function.
Squeeze the lemon juice to it, pour 2 cups (500 ml) of water and add the agave syrup or another sweetener. I also sometimes add sugar - about 2.1 oz (60 g), although in the original recipe there are 4.2 oz (120 g), which seems too much to me.
I adapted the recipe with agave syrup, because I wanted it healthy.
You can also add the ice at this point to grind it even finer, or you can add it afterwards, because it's crushed anyway.
Let everything grind very finely (in this case, the cucumber). About 1 minute will be enough.
Pour the rest of the water, add the hydrated chia seeds, which will probably stick together in places, so beat with a wire whisk or just mix well.
The drink is left in the refrigerator to cool very well before serving.
