Ingredients

  • butter - 1 cup
  • brown sugar - 1/2 cup
  • white sugar - 1/2 cup
  • eggs - 3
  • vanilla extract - 2 tbsp.
  • all - purpose flour - 1/4 cup
  • baking soda - 1/2 tsp.
  • salt - 1 tsp.
  • oats - 3 cups for quick cooking
  • walnuts - 1 cup ground
  • chocolate chips - 1 cup semi sweet

How to make

Preheat the oven to 330°F (165°C).

In a large bowl, mix the butter, brown sugar and white sugar until a light and fluffy mixture is obtained. Beat the eggs one at a time, then add the vanilla.

Combine the flour, baking soda and salt.

Stir into the creamy mixture until combined.

Mix the quick oats, walnuts, and chocolate chips. Don't over mix!

Drop heaping spoon onto non greased baking trays.

Bake for 12 minutes in a preheated oven.

Let the biscuits cool on the baking paper for 5 minutes before transferring onto a wire rack to cool completely.

Serve 2 Chewy Chocolate Oat Biscuits garnished with a scoop of ice cream and some raspberries and you've got a sophisticated dessert :)
