Ingredients

  • pork ribs - 2.6 lb (1.2 kg)
  • dark soy sauce - 2 tbsp.
  • honey - 2 tbsp.
  • olive oil - 4 tbsp.
  • mustard - 2 tbsp.
  • smoked paprika - 2 tsp.
  • paprika - 1 tsp. /sweet/
  • cayenne pepper - 1 tsp.
  • chili - 1 tsp organic, powdered
  • savory herb - 1 tsp.
  • black pepper - 1 tsp.
  • salt - 1 tsp.

How to make

Wash the ribs and cut them into pieces.

In a bowl, mix the liquid ingredients first with the honey and mustard, mix well, then add the dry ingredients. Mix until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.

Roll each piece nicely in the prepared pork ribs marinade, if you like more salt, add salt to taste.

Leave the marinated ribs in the bowl with the marinade, cover with cling film and let it sit in the fridge for a few hours. I left them for a day, that way they taste best and become very tender and juicy.

Transfer them to a suitable tray, cover them with the remaining marinade / you can pour 20-30 ml of warm water if the marinade does not cover the entire bottom, but be careful not to pour it on the ribs/.

Cover them with aluminum foil and bake in a preheated oven at 390°F (200°C) for about 2 hours. The last 10-15 minutes, remove the foil and bake until they acquire a crispy crust.

Serve the Tender Pork Ribs with a suitable salad!
