"There is something magical about some simple oven-baked macaroni being so delicious"

Ingredients

  • macaroni - 10.5 oz (300 g)
  • topping
  • milk - 2 cups (500 ml)
  • sugar - 6.4 oz (180 g)
  • vanilla essence - 1 tsp.
  • butter - 1 tbsp.
  • eggs - 2 large
  • brown sugar - 1 tbsp.

How to make

Cook the macaroni according to the instructions on the package for 10 minutes with 1 tsp. salt and strain well. They should not be overcooked, but should be al dente.

When strained, mix them with butter and stir until it has melted.

Beat the eggs with the sugar and vanilla in a bowl. Warm milk is added and stir to mix the products.

Pour the macaroni into a baking pan with a diameter of 9.4″ (24 cm), cover with the egg mixture and bake in a heated oven at 360°F (180°C) until set. It takes about 40 minutes.

Take them out and sprinkle them with brown sugar and the oven-baked macaroni are returned into the oven for 10 minutes and they're done.

Take out, cut and eat the oven-baked macaroni. They are tastier cold!
