"Delicious treats for friends - aromatic Camembert in filo pastry sheets"

Ingredients

  • filo pastry sheets - 8
  • butter - 4 tbsp. melted
  • apples - 2 sour
  • honey - 1 tbsp. liquid
  • red wine - 2 tbsp. dry
  • balsamic vinegar - 2 tbsp.
  • cloves - 2 cloves
  • cinnamon - 2 pinches
  • butter - 1 tbsp.
  • nuts - 3.5 oz (100 g) of your choice (lightly toasted)
  • raisins - 2 tbsp.
  • camembert - 4 pcs. small packets

How to make

Oven 360°F (180°C)

Toast the nuts lightly in a dry baking pan, I have used walnuts. Crush them by hand into smaller pieces.

The apples are peeled, cleaned and cut into small cubes.

Put them in a pot with the wine and spices to stew. At the end of cooking, the heat of the hob is increased so that the wine evaporates and only the aroma remains.

Add the butter, honey and balsamic vinegar, mix carefully and let it caramelize slightly. Remove from the heat, add the broken nuts and raisins and leave it to cool.

For each serving, place two filo pastry sheets on top of each other, spreading a little melted butter between them. Place the Camembert on top of them, and pile the apple mixture on top.

The filo pastry sheets are rolled into a ball and their ends are folded from below. Spread butter on top and sprinkle with black sesame seeds.

The cheese is baked at 360°F (180°C) until the filo pastry sheets become golden. Leave them to cool for a few minutes and serve them.
