Ingredients

  • filo pastry sheets - 4 pcs.
  • eggs - 4 pcs.
  • potatoes - 2.2 lb (1 kg)
  • onion - 1 onion
  • white cheese - 10.5 oz (300 g)
  • butter - 4.4 oz (125 g)
  • salt
  • black pepper

How to make

Peel, wash and grate the potatoes. Cut the onion into medium-sized cubes and add it to the potatoes.

Add the eggs and the crumbled white cheese, a little salt, black pepper and as much dried, ground mint as you like.

Mix everything well. Grease the baking pan with butter. Place two filo pastry sheets, so that the edges hang out.

Pour the mixture and add pieces of butter. Fold the hanging edges inward and place the other two filo pastry sheets on top. Bake them only on the underside.

When the edges aquire a golden brown color, with the help of another larger pan, turn them over and place them back in the oven to bake.
