How to make
The wheat is washed and put in a pot with about 3-4 cups of water.
After it boils almost until ready (the time depends on the wheat itself - I use Turkish, which boils very quickly), add about 1 liter of water (if there is no water left in the pot during cooking, the weight can be increased a little).
Sugar is also added. Stir, so that it can melt well.
While the wheat is boiling, mix the starch with water in a glass.
After boiling the water, start adding the beaten starch slowly in a thin stream. After the ashure has thickened, take it off the heat and add the walnuts (it's best if they are almost whole so they can be felt).
Pour into dessert bowls while still warm.
During the summer period, it can also be served with a scoop of ice cream and topping.
The ashure with walnuts is ready.
