How to make
Clean the hulled wheat, wash it and put it to boil on the stove until soft. If necessary, top up with a little water during boiling and stir regularly and carefully.
Drain the excess water and set aside 1/3 of the wheat. Pass the remaining wheat through a sieve or blend it. To the resulting paste, add the set aside wheat, sugar, ground walnuts, raisins and starch dissolved in 2/5 cup (100 ml) of cold water.
Optionally, add a few vanilla drops. Pour the resulting mixture in a container on the stove and cook for about 7-8 minutes, while stirring.
Next, flavor the Ashure with rosewater (only if you haven't added vanilla) and distribute it into bowls.
Sprinkle with cinnamon, walnuts, and the soaked in water and drained raisins. Serve the Ashure pudding once completely cooled and slightly gelled.
