How to make
From the evening before, wash and clean the plums from the pits. Cut them in half.
Pour them into a wide and tall tray, add the geranium and the water - stir and cover the plums with the sugar.
In the morning, put them in the oven. Turn on the oven at 360°F (180°C) and bake for two hours.
During this time, stir the mixture from time to time and skim off the foam that forms.
Five to ten minutes before they are ready, add the citric acid and mix again.
Take the tray out of the oven, wait for the mixture to cool and blend with a blender.
Pour the finished marmalade into jars and sterilize for 5 minutes.
The warm jars can also be placed in a blanket with the lids facing down, wrapped and put away when completely cooled.
The oven-baked plum marmalade is ready.
