  • pears - 2.2 lb (1 kg)
  • sugar - 2.2 lb (1 kg)
  • tartaric acid - 1 tsp.

How to make

Clean and wash the pears. Peel the skins and cut them into suitable pieces.

Make the sugar syrup by adding 1 cup of water.

After the syrup thickens, add the pieces of pears and boil until the jam thickens.

At the end of cooking, add cloves and tartaric acid.

Pour the jam into jars and sterilize for about 5-6 min. to seal the lids.

The homemade jam from peeled pears is ready.
