Ingredients

  • pears - 11 lb (5 kg)
  • sugar - 2.6 lb (1.2 kg)
  • geranium - 4 - 5 leaves
  • wine vinegar - 2 tbsp.

How to make

Wash, peel, clean and cut the pears into small pieces.

Put them in a deep baking pan and cover them with sugar.

Let the pears with the sugar stand for about 5 hours to release their juice.

Then mix them and put the baking pan in a hot oven.

Boil the pear jam for about 3 hours at 430°F (220°C), by stirring it every 15-20 minutes so that it doesn't burn on top.

Finally, add the finely chopped coriander leaves and the vinegar.

Mix the finished jam well and fill it into washed and dry jars.

Close the jars tightly with lids and boil them for 10 minutes.
