How to make
First, I peeled the potatoes, washed and thinly sliced them, boiled them until done, by stirring occasionally. I strained them from the water and put them in a deep bowl.
Then I stewed kale in the oil, which I had washed and cut into larger pieces and removed the thick stems. I added the chopped garlic cloves.
I added the cooked vegetable to the potatoes. I mixed, added salt and black pepper.
In another bowl I mixed the cream and eggs, beat them well and added them to the potatoes and kale.
I mixed again and transferred the food into a 24cm round baking pan lined with baking paper. I sprinkled the breadcrumbs on top for a crust.
I baked the potato pie at 360°F (180°C) in a preheated oven without fan for 50/55 minutes.
I cooled the baked savory pie well before taking it out and removing the paper.
The potato and kale pie turned out delicious. The combination is good - potatoes, kale, cream and eggs.
