How to make
To make this healthy dessert, first soak the chia seeds in milk. Add a spoonful of honey or agave for sweetness and mix. Leave that for at least 1 hour, but stir occasionally. I soak my chia in the evening and it's ready in the morning.
You can replace milk with nut milk, for example almond and the dessert will become vegan.
As soon as the chia swells, prepare the avocado cream.
Put 1 well-ripe avocado, a banana, a spoonful of honey and freshly squeezed lime juice into a blender jug.
Blend until smooth.
Then add some finely grated lime peel to the cream.
Spread 2/3 of the cream in the bottom of 2 dessert glasses.
To the rest, add 1 spoon carob flour and mix.
Clean and cut the strawberries and sprinkle them over the avocado cream.
Then add the chia with the milk.
Finally, add a spoonful of the carob chocolate cream into the glasses and garnish with more strawberries.
You can eat the chia pudding right away or refrigerate it for an hour. I personally prefer the pudding well chilled.
Enjoy your meal!
