Ingredients

  • calamari - 1.1 lb (500 g)
  • oil - for frying
  • eggs - 3 pcs.
  • salt - 1/2 tsp.
  • lemon juice - from 1 lemon
  • white flour - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • corn flour - 2 tbsp.

How to make

Clean the calamari, cut them into circles no thicker than 1 cm.

In a bowl, beat the eggs with a fork. Mix both types of flour with salt. Dip the calamari first in the flour, then in the eggs and again in the flour.

Heat oil in a pan, fry on moderate heat on both sides until golden. Remove the breaded calamari and place them onto kitchen paper to absorb the fat.

Sprinkle the quick breaded calamari with lemon juice and serve them with a glass of cold beer.
