  • sugar - 6.35 oz (180 g)
  • butter - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • soda - 1 tsp.
  • flour - 6.7 oz (190 g)
  • salt - 1 pinch
  • Cream
  • confectionery cream - 4/5 cup (200 ml)
  • sugar - 1 tbsp.
  • sour cream - 3.5 oz (100 g)

How to make

Beat the eggs with the sugar, add a pinch of salt, add the flour and mix.

Melt the honey and add the soda to it.

Add the egg mixture to the honey, mix carefully and divide it into 2 parts.

Pour one part into a baking pan and bake in a preheated oven at 360°F (180°C) for 5-6 minutes. After that, also bake the other part.

Whip the cream with the sugar, then add the sour cream and mix well.

Assemble the honey cake by alternating the sponge cake layers and the cream.
