Ingredients

  • dark chocolate - 5.3 oz (150 g)
  • biscuits - about 5.3 oz (150 g)
  • walnuts - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • butter - 4.4 oz (125 g)
  • brandy - a little metaxa or other kind

How to make

Crush the biscuits coarsely (can be done by hand using a bag and a hammer or rolling pin or by using a blender). Grind the walnuts.

Melt the chocolate and butter in a water bath, until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.

Add the alcohol /almond liqueur, Baileys, cherry or other alcohol of choice/ or some flavor/essence.

Mix the liquid ingredients with the biscuits and walnuts and stir until they're mixed well. Leave the resulting mixture for about 20 minutes in the refrigerator.

Spread the mixture for the sweet salami onto kitchen foil and use it to roll it up.

Tie the two ends and let the sweet salami harden again in the refrigerator.

This sweet salami with walnuts can be eaten after 2-3 hours, but it tastes much better if you leave it for at least a day.
