How to make
Leave the cheese in the fridge to set and cool. Then chop it up and put it in the blender along with two of the egg whites, the spices and the hot peppers (without the seeds).
Grind everything into fine crumbs.
A cheesy dough is obtained, which can also be prepared from different types of cheese - from cow's milk, sheep's milk, in combination with Emmental or Gouda.
Shape the dough into balls and arrange them on a plate. Cover with cling film and place them in the fridge to chill for about an hour. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
Dip the prepared cheesy balls in the beaten egg white and roll them in grinded/crushed cornflakes.
Fry until they acquire a nice golden color. Be careful not to burn them, they burn very quickly.
Remove and place them onto kitchen paper to absorb the excess fat.
Serve the breaded cheese warm with a drink of your choice.
The spicy breaded cheeses are amazing!
