"A side dish, an appetizer or just a light snack - the favorite oven-sautéed potatoes with garlic and dill"

Ingredients

  • potatoes - 2.2 lb (1 kg)
  • garlic - 6 - 7 cloves
  • dill - 1/2 bunch
  • oil
  • salt
measures

How to make

Boil the potatoes with the skin on until semi cooked. Test with a fork - by poking the potato, it should be slightly soft, not falling apart.

After boiling the potatoes, cool them with cold water. Peel them and cut them into circles, which are about 1 cm thick.

Arrange the potato circles on a baking tray lined with baking paper, which is also generously greased.

Peel and press the cloves of garlic through a garlic press. Spread the mashed garlic on each potato.

Sprinkle the potatoes with dill (can also be frozen, finely chopped). Salt the potatoes and pour a little oil on them.

Bake the gorgeous sautéed potatoes in a 480°F (250°C) oven, until they acquire a golden color.

You get great, flavorful oven-sautéed potatoes with garlic and dill, without the unhealthy frying.
