"Appetizing sausages that are meant to be eaten in no time"

Ingredients

  • pork sausages - 20 pcs. raw and small (1 kg)
  • peppers - yellow 2 pcs.
  • onion - 2 large onions
  • tomatoes - 2 tins of 0.9 lb (400 g), diced
  • vegetable broth - 2 cups (500 ml)
  • basil - 3 tbsp. chopped
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • sugar - 1 tsp.
  • olive oil - 3 tbsp.

How to make

Heat the oven to 390°F (200°C). Grease a deep baking pan with olive oil and arrange the sausages, previously pierced lightly with a fork. Bake for 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, clean the peppers and onions and cut them into crescents. Add them to the baked sausages and bake for another 10 minutes.

Reduce the oven temperature to 360°F (180°C) and add the vegetable broth to the sausages and vegetables and the tomatoes that you previously seasoned with salt, black pepper, sugar and basil.

Bake for another 20 minutes. Optionally you can serve the dish with toast spread with garlic and basil cream cheese.

The sausage stew with tomato sauce is very tasty.
