Ingredients

  • mackerel - 2.2 lb (1 kg)
  • tomatoes - 1.8 lb (800 g)
  • salt
  • oil
  • parsley

How to make

Wash the fish, clean it and cut it into slices, which are about 3 cm thick. Arrange the pieces in a greased baking tray.

Salt the mackerel and pour a little oil over it. Bake in the oven at 480°F (250°C).

Grate or blend the tomatoes and after the mackerel is baked, distribute them evenly in the baking tray.

Bake for another 15-20 minutes. Once the dish is ready, sprinkle with finely chopped parsley and serve the mackerel with tomato sauce.
