Ingredients

  • oats - 1/2 cup
  • field mushrooms - 6 pcs.
  • dried tomatoes - about 10 pcs.
  • spinach - some frozen or fresh
  • frozen corn
  • soy sauce - 1/2 - 1 tsp.
  • hummus - 1 tbsp.
  • garlic powder
  • thyme
  • basil
  • oil
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • lemon juice - freshly squeezed

How to make

The mushrooms are cut into pieces. They are fried in heated oil.

Add some thyme, garlic powder, soy sauce, dried tomatoes and mix.

Shortly after that, pour the oats, pour 1 cup of water and add the spinach.

When it boils, remove it from the heat.

Add some corn, the hummus, 1 small pinch of basil, a few drops of lemon juice, as much black pepper and salt as you like, if needed.

Everything is mixed well and when the oats and corn are soft enough, the savory oatmeal with mushrooms, spinach and dried tomatoes is ready to be served.
