  • spelt flour - 2.2 lb (1 kg)
  • butter - 4 tbsp
  • honey - 6 tbsp.
  • salt - 2 tsp
  • sugar - 2 tsp.
  • dry yeast - 0.8 oz (22 g)
  • hot water - 3 cups
  • seeds mix - 1 cup

How to make

The yeast is poured into a small bowl.

Sugar and 2 pinches of flour are added.

Pour 1/2 cup of hot water.

Stir very well and leave it to activate for 20 minutes.

The butter is melted to a liquid state.

The spelt flour is poured into a bowl, in which it will be kneaded.

Add the salt and mix very well.

A well is formed in the middle, in which the activated yeast is poured.

Add honey, melted butter and the remaining warm water.

Knead the dough, then add the seeds.

It is kneaded very well with the seeds.

Leave it to rise in a warm place, covered with a towel.

Once the dough has risen, knead it once more and leave it to rise for 20 minutes.

The risen dough is placed in bread mold onto baking paper.

Bake the spelt bread for 40 minutes in a preheated oven at 360°F (180°C) with a fan.
