Ingredients

  • for the meatballs
  • minced meat - 1.1 lb (500 g)
  • spring onions - 2 stalks
  • bread - 2 slices (without the crusts)
  • eggs - 1 pc.
  • parsley
  • black pepper
  • oil - for greasing the pan
  • for the sauce
  • flour - 4 tbsp. toasted
  • oil - 1/2 cup
  • garlic powder - 1 tsp.
  • dried parsley
  • water - 2 cups

How to make

Finely chop the onion. Soak the slices in cold water.

Add the beaten egg, the squeezed slices of bread, the chopped onion and the spices to the minced meat.

Knead the minced meat, form meatballs and arrange them in a tray, the bottom of which is covered with baking paper. Drizzle with oil and bake, until the meatballs are done.

Make the white sauce, by heating oil in a suitable pan, add the toasted flour and fry.

Add the water in a thin stream and mix, until a thick paste is obtained. Season with salt and garlic powder.

Pour the sauce over the finished meatballs, sprinkle with parsley and serve.

The oven-baked meatballs with white sauce are very tasty.
