How to make
Wash the mackerel well and cut it into slices.
Fry the garlic in the oil for a few seconds, add the olives, the sliced pickles and the tomato puree.
Season according to taste with salt and black pepper. After a minute or two, remove the sauce from the heat.
Arrange the fish in a baking pan and cover it with the sauce.
Add a few bay leaves.
Bake, until the fish is ready.
If necessary, we pour a little water in the baking pan, so that a relatively thick sauce is obtained on the oven-baked fish.
The oven-baked mackerel with tomato sauce and olives is very tasty.
