  • puff pastry - 7 oz (200 g)
  • milk chocolate - 5.3 oz (150 g)
  • cream - 2/5 cup (100 ml)
  • oil - for frying
  • colored sprinkles - for decoration

How to make

Heat the cream, until it boils. Break the chocolate into small pieces in a bowl. Pour the cream over the chocolate. Stir, until the chocolate has melted fully. Allow the mixture to cool and thicken slightly.

Roll out the puff pastry sheet onto a smooth surface. With a circle mold, cut out circles. The number of donuts obtained will depend on the size of the mold.

With a brush, lightly wet the surface of the circles. Stick three circles on top of each other. With a smaller mold, cut out the middle of the circles to form a donut. Arrange the donuts onto a plate and put them in the fridge for about 30 minutes.

When ready, heat the oil on a high heat in a pan on the stove and fry the donuts for a few minutes, by turning them, if necessary.

Remove and arrange them onto kitchen paper, so that it can absorb the unnecessary fat.

Once they have cooled, dip one side into the chocolate ganache and allow the chocolate to harden.

Sprinkle with various topping of your choice.
