"A unique taste of sweet butternut squash, garnished with tahini and cream - a dessert you must try today"

Ingredients

  • butternut squash - 1/2 pc.
  • sugar - 2 or 3 cups
  • sesame tahini - 1 - 2 tbsp.
  • walnuts
  • cream
measures

How to make

Clean, peel and cut the butternut squash into pieces in a pot. Sprinkle with the sugar. Don't worry that it's a lot. The butternut squash should turn white.

Put it on the stove and leave it to boil. Stir, until the sugar melts and the pumpkin releases water.

Reduce the heat and leave the boiled butternut squash to cook on a low heat.

The water should evaporate and a thick sauce should remain.

Turn the heat off and distribute it into suitable bowls.

Immediately add the tahini and before serving the Turkish-Style Boiled Butternut Squash, sprinkle with walnuts and a spoonful of cream.
