How to make
Put 1-2 tablespoons of fat in a pan and heat it up. Wash and clean the peppers. Cut them into thin strips. Place them in the heated fat.
Reduce the heat and wait for them to soften and aquire a light caramel brown color (but not too much), by stirring occasionally.
Add the sugar, vinegar and water. Mix and close with a lid. Leave it for five minutes.
Open and wait for the liquid to evaporate. Turn off and serve your caramelized peppers as a side dish with a dish of your choice.
