How to make
The pumpkin is peeled, cleaned from the seeds and cut into medium-sized pieces. At the bottom of a pot, place the attachment for steam cooking.
Instead of it, a deep plate with a diameter equal to the bottom of the pot can be used.
Arrange the sliced pumpkin pieces on top. Pour the water and cover the pot with a lid. Boil the pumpkin on medium heat for about half an hour or until it softens.
The boiled pumpkin can be flavored as you like with sugar, honey, cinnamon, raisins or something else.
This steamed pumpkin can also be made into a puree or pumpkin cream soup.
