How to make
Preheat the oven to 360°F (180°C) with the fan mode on.
Place the hazelnuts in a tray - I lined it with baking paper and bake in a heated oven for about 10-12 minutes.
Peel the hazelnuts, by rubbing them in a kitchen towel.
Set aside the peeled hazelnuts and blend them, until they are crumbly or, with stronger robots, a hazelnut cream will be obtained.
Add the cocoa, vanilla, coconut milk and maple syrup to the hazelnuts (you can replace it with honey, the same proportion of 3 tablespoons) and blend for a few more minutes, until a smooth and creamy mixture is obtained.
If it seems too thick, you can add a little more coconut milk, it depends on how thick you like your homemade chocolate spread.
And our healthy homemade Nutella is ready for consumption :)
Store the homemade Nutella in the fridge for up to a week, if of course it lasts that long :)
Enjoy!
