Ingredients

  • lemons - 2 pcs. (pink and ordinary)
  • lime - 1 pc.
  • baking soda - 1/2 tsp.
  • salt - 1 pinch
  • agave syrup - 3 - 4 tbsp. (by taste)
  • ginger - about 0.8″ (2 cm) fresh root
  • water - 1.2 liters

How to make

To prepare a healthy lemonade, first boil a little water on the stove and add the fresh ginger root, which is cut into thin circles. Boil it for 5-6 minutes and leave it to cool, then strain the mixture.

Squeeze the lemons (if you don't have a pink lemon, use two ordinary ones). It is very nice when you can feel the strong and fresh taste of citrus in the lemonade, which comes from the peels, so squeeze some of the peels from the outer, colored part.

Of course, the liquid does not come out, but fine particles of highly concentrated citrus extract do. Try to squeeze these particles into the liquid/juice and not in the air.

Pour the citrus juice into a large jug and top it up with iced ginger tea and cold mineral or purified water.

Add salt, agave syrup and baking soda. Stir until fine bubbles are obtained.

Serve this healthy homemade lemonade straight away.
