Ingredients

  • eggs - 1 pc.
  • sugar - 3/4 cup
  • oil - 1/2 cup
  • cocoa - 2 or 3 tbsp.
  • baking powder - 1 tbsp (10 g)
  • whole grain flour - about 2 cups (type 1850)
  • dark chocolate - 0.9 oz (25 g)

How to make

For these crunchy biscuits, I beat 1 egg with 3/4 cup of sugar, added 2-3 tbsp. of cocoa, 1/2 cup of oil and whole wheat flour (type 1850) with one baking powder, until a soft dough was obtained.

Then I chopped 1/4 of the dark chocolate with cardamom and mixed the pieces into the dough.

I covered it with foil and put it in the fridge for an hour.

Then I shaped walnut-sized balls and pressed them lightly, placed them onto a baking tray lined with baking paper.

There should be a lot of space between the biscuits, I didn't leave much space and mine lost their shape.

Bake the whole grain biscuits at 360°F (180°C) for 15 minutes.
