This is the perfect peach jam recipe. It may seem like a little sugar, but it's the perfect ratio for real jam, in which you can taste the fruit, not just the sugar.

Wash, peel the peaches and cut them into small cubes. Add the peaches and sugar into a pot, mix well and leave them in the fridge overnight.

After the peaches have released their juice, put them on the hob to boil for 10 minutes.

Leave them to cool down and store them in the fridge for another night. This is a key moment in the preparation of the jam, if you want it to be tasty, you need to be patient and take your time.

The next day, boil it for another 15 minutes and distribute it in jars while it is still warm.

You can turn them over and they're done, but if you want to make sure they last longer, put the jars in a pot with a rag on the bottom and boil them for another 10 minutes, then take them out and turn them over again.
