How to make

This vitamin salad is perfect for the company of brandy on autumn or winter evenings.

You need few products for it, it is economical and surprisingly tasty.

It gets even better when it is left overnight in the fridge.

The leek stalk is cleaned from the outer tougher leaves and ends.

It is chopped by first cutting the stem in half lengthwise and then each of the halves is also cut in half lengthwise.

The long pieces of leek are then cut crosswise in half - one centimeter.

Add the oil, vinegar, salt, black pepper and half a spoonful of paprika.

It is mixed well and if it is going to be consumed straight away, it is mashed slightly.

Season the leek salad with more vinegar, oil, salt and black pepper, if desired.

The traditional brandy salad is served with the black olives and sprinkle a generous amount of the remaining paprika.

Enjoy this leek salad.
