How to make
The pears are washed and cleaned. Poke holes all over the pears with a fork.
Put the water and sugar on the stove and as soon as it boils, add the pears. Boil for about 5-6 minutes. They are left as they are in the syrup overnight.
After that it is boiled for about 20-30 minutes and finally the pinch of citric acid is added.
The pear jam is distributed into small and dry jars and turned upside down, until they cool completely.
* Depending on how many pears you have, 2 lb (900 g) of sugar, 2 cups of water and 1 pinch of citric acid is added to 2.2 lb (1 kg) of pears.
